Stopped working after 2 months

For no apparent reason (it wasn't dropped, pulled too hard, etc.), the bullet stopped working after about 2 months. I really enjoyed it and was sad when it didn't work. I changed the batteries how it instructs and still nothing. Sure, it was only a few $, but I'd rather pay a few more to have something that actually lasts.
